Designed for Next-Generation Liquid Cooling Infrastructure

Optimized for closed-loop thermal loops servicing intense AI compute racks, high-frequency GPUs, and dense server arrays.

LIVE COLD PLATE LOOP GRAPHIC

Direct-to-Chip Liquid Thermal Transfer Simulation

INLET COOLANT PIPE (Cold) HIGH-DENSITY AI GPU COPPER COLD PLATE MICRO-CHANNELS OUTLET COOLANT PIPE (Warm)

Direct-to-Chip (Cold Plate) Systems

Maintains maximum convective heat transfer coefficient inside intricate copper and brass cold plate micro-channels. Forms an anodic microscopic protective film to prevent galvanic copper ion migration onto aluminum blocks.

  • Inhibits micro-channel clogging
  • Copper & Brass ion plating defense
  • Stable at high chip contact flux

Rear-Door Heat Exchangers (RDHx)

Protects large-surface multi-metal radiator arrays, stainless steel piping, and cast iron pump casings from cavitation and bio-fouling in 30°C to 45°C primary thermal loops.

  • Multi-metal iron/steel passivation
  • Phosphate cast iron buffer film
  • Long-term thermal loop stability

Electrical Conductivity Notice — Not for Immersion Cooling

dataCool is an aqueous organic acid inhibitor formulation designed exclusively for sealed indirect fluid circuits (cold plates & RDHx loops). Because it contains ionized potassium salts and is electrically conductive, it is NOT suitable for direct single-phase or two-phase immersion cooling.

Propylene Glycol (30.0%)

Thermal Base

At a 30% concentration, Propylene Glycol provides the optimum balance between low fluid viscosity, high heat capacity, and burst/freeze protection down to -13°C. It serves as the primary non-toxic carrier liquid for the organic inhibitor package.

Primary Metal Target: System Wide
Solubility State: Miscible Aqueous Solution

Critical Operational Parameters

Ensuring long-term reliability and zero precipitation in data center liquid cooling loops.

pH Maintenance & Precipitation Threshold

Target Alkaline Range: 8.0 - 9.5

6.0 (Danger) 7.5 (Min Cutoff) 8.0 - 9.5 (Ideal) 11.0 (Alkaline)
Current pH: 8.8 — OPTIMAL STABILITY

Fluid is in optimal alkaline equilibrium. Organic acid salts (dodecanedioic & sebacic) remain fully dissolved in active potassium salt form.

Water Quality & Purity Limits

The balance water cannot be tap water. It must be strictly purified Deionized or Reverse Osmosis water.

Chlorides (Cl⁻) < 25 ppm
Sulfates (SO₄²⁻) < 25 ppm
Total Dissolved Solids < 50 ppm

High chlorides aggressively attack aluminum and stainless steel cold plates, rapidly neutralizing inhibitor films.

Biological Control in Warm Loops

While 30% glycol at pH 8.5 naturally suppresses bacterial growth, warm data center loops (30°C - 45°C) can harbor extremophile bacteria.

Dosing: Non-foaming Isothiazolinone broad-spectrum biocide when operating long-term.
